Sunset Silhouette Mini — $150

Golden Hour Mini Sessions are short, relaxed photography experiences held just before sunset, when the sky is glowing and the landscape is filled with soft, flattering light. These sessions are perfect for couples, families, graduates, athletes, children, pets, or anyone looking for updated portraits without booking a full-length session.
Tim will guide you through natural poses while also capturing the candid smiles, connections, and moments that make your photographs feel genuine. With Cochrane’s open fields, mountain views, western scenery, and unforgettable sunsets as the backdrop, every session has its own unique look and feel.

1. What sports do you photograph?
Sports portrait sessions are available for hockey, lacrosse, football, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, ringette, martial arts, rodeo athletes and many other sports.
Sessions can be customized around your uniform, equipment, team colors and personal style.
2. Are sessions available for individual athletes and full teams?
Yes. Tim Hall offers portrait packages for individual athletes, siblings, small groups and complete teams.
Individual sessions focus on the athlete’s personality, strength and connection to their sport. Team sessions provide a consistent professional look across every player, coach and team photograph.
3. Where are sports portrait sessions held?
Sessions can take place at an arena, field, gymnasium, clubhouse, studio-style indoor location or another approved setting.
The best location will depend on the sport, season, available lighting and the overall style you would like to create.
Facility rental fees, permits or special location charges are not included unless specifically stated in your package.
4. What should the athlete wear?
Athletes should arrive wearing a clean, complete uniform whenever possible.
Please bring all important uniform pieces, including:
- Jersey
- Pants or shorts
- Socks
- Cleats, skates or athletic footwear
- Gloves
- Helmet
- Team jacket or warm-up clothing
Athletes booking packages with multiple looks may also bring an alternate jersey, training outfit or casual athletic look.
5. Should we bring sports equipment?
Yes. Equipment adds personality and authenticity to the portraits.
Depending on the sport, athletes may want to bring sticks, bats, balls, gloves, helmets, skates, rackets, pads, medals, trophies or other meaningful items.
Please make sure equipment is clean and in good condition before the session.
6. How long does a session take?
Individual sessions generally take between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the package selected.
Team sessions usually take between 60 minutes and two hours. Larger teams or packages with multiple poses, custom posters and advanced lighting may require additional time.
A photography schedule will be provided for organized team sessions.
7. Do athletes need modelling experience?
Not at all.
Tim will guide each athlete through positioning, expression and confident sports-inspired poses. Sessions are relaxed, encouraging and designed to help every athlete feel comfortable in front of the camera.
8. Can parents attend the session?
Yes. Parents or guardians are welcome to attend individual sessions, especially when photographing younger athletes.
For organized team sessions, parents may be asked to remain in a designated area so the photography schedule can move smoothly and safely.
9. Can siblings or teammates be photographed together?
Yes. Sibling, teammate and small-group portraits can be added to most individual sessions.
These photographs are a great way to celebrate athletes who play together, train together or share the same passion for their sport.
Additional fees may apply depending on the number of athletes and the amount of extra photography required.
10. What is a poster-style composite image?
A composite is a custom-designed sports image that combines professional photography with dramatic backgrounds, team colors, player names, numbers, lighting effects or graphic elements.
These images are designed to have a bold, professional, major-league-inspired appearance.
Composite designs require additional editing and are included only in selected packages or available as an add-on.
11. Will you photograph action shots during the session?
Sports portrait sessions are primarily designed around controlled, posed and action-inspired photographs.
Athletes may be asked to recreate movements such as shooting, passing, swinging, running or preparing for competition. These images are carefully staged to create a dramatic result.
Live game or competition coverage is available separately.
12. How many images will we receive?
The number of final images depends on the package selected.
Only the strongest photographs are professionally edited and delivered. Duplicate images, test shots, unedited files and RAW files are not included.
Additional finished images may be available for purchase.
13. How will the images be delivered?
Final photographs are delivered through a private online gallery.
Depending on the package, files may include:
- High-resolution images for printing
- Web-sized images for sharing online
- Social-media crops
- Poster designs
- Team graphics
Download instructions will be provided when the gallery is ready.
14. How long does it take to receive the photographs?
Standard delivery is approximately one week after the session.
Large team galleries, advanced composites or custom poster packages may require additional editing time. An estimated delivery date will be discussed before the session.
Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.
15. Are prints included?
Digital images are included as outlined in each package.
Professional prints, enlargements, banners, trading cards, wall art and specialty products can be ordered separately.
Print pricing will depend on the product, size and quantity requested.
16. Can we print the photographs ourselves?
Personal-use printing rights are included with purchased digital images.
Athletes and families may print and share their photographs for personal use. The images may not be sold, commercially reproduced, heavily altered or provided to a business for advertising without written permission.
17 Can the team use the photographs on social media?
Personal and team social-media sharing is generally permitted with the delivered web-ready files.
Commercial use by sponsors, businesses, leagues, tournaments or other organizations may require a separate photography licence.
Please contact Tim before providing images to third parties for advertising or promotional use.
18. Do you offer retouching?
es. Standard professional editing includes adjustments to exposure, color, contrast, cropping and overall image presentation.
Temporary blemishes and minor distractions may also be corrected when appropriate.
Major alterations, extensive background changes, uniform corrections or advanced graphic work may require an additional fee.
19. What happens if the athlete is injured?
Please contact Tim as soon as possible.
Depending on the situation, the session may be rescheduled or adjusted to include portraits that can be created safely. Athletes should never perform a movement that causes pain or risks further injury.
20. What happens if the weather is poor?
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled when rain, heavy wind, smoke, extreme temperatures or unsafe conditions affect the session.
Tim will monitor conditions and discuss the best option before the scheduled time.
Indoor sessions are normally unaffected unless travel or facility access becomes unsafe.
21. What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Please provide as much notice as possible.
Rescheduling is usually available when reasonable notice is given. Repeated changes, last-minute cancellations, facility charges or missed appointments may result in additional fees.
Specific arrangements will be confirmed at the time of booking.
22. Is travel included?
Sessions within Cochrane are included unless otherwise stated.
Travel outside Cochrane may require an additional fee based on distance, travel time and equipment requirements.
23. How should a team prepare for portrait day?
Teams should confirm the player list, uniform requirements, location access and photography schedule in advance.
Players should arrive on time and fully dressed whenever possible. Each athlete should have their equipment ready and clearly labelled.
Coaches or team managers should also advise Tim about any special requests, graduating players, sponsor requirements or custom graphics before the session.
